Straight of Montreal (that’s right, Canada) Chromeo is doing 80′s the right way. And has been for a while. 2004′s “She’s In Control” and 2007′s “Fancy Footwork” are both evidence of, in the BBC’s own words, “A shameless return to the glistening, sex-saturated synth-pop which ruled the eighties.”

And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I definitely suggest picking up the deluxe edition of “Fancy Footwork” if you like what you hear here. It’s 100% worth it.

Chromeo – Needy Girl (DatA In Beverly Hills Remix) <—- AMAZING

Enjoy as always. -GK

Alright. So here it is. First. Post. I hope you’ll notice how many periods I’m using. It’s called. Dramatic emphasis. Because after all. This is. The first post.

And what better way to start things off than with one of my favorite producers of all-time, Frenchman Fred Falke. If you’re at all familiar with Alan Braxe or Kris Menace, then Fred Falke should not be a new face. Here for you listening pleasure are two of his most excellent remixes that exemplify his chilled-out, lush synth, signature French house sound.

Annie – Anthonio (Fred Falke Remix)
Citylife – San Francisco (Fred Falke Dub)

Enjoy. And see you in the very near future. -GK
